The per-gram freight cost drops after the first 100g
Because New Zealand Post (like all mail carriers) charges a fixed fee for any package (in their case, up to 100g in weight) and an additional fee based on the actual weight of the package (if above 100g), when you buy more than one product the freight cost of the second product is only a fraction of the first item.
For example, our lightest product, Deer Velvet (which weighs just 60g) costs only a few cents more to post two bottles than it does to post one. This is because the additional cost of the second bottle is just for the 20g above 100g. Click here to see for yourself.
